PARTICLE BOARD
PLAIN & HMR
Three layers make up PLAIN & HMR Particleboard, which has larger wood flakes in the center and finer particles on the top and bottom surfaces. Particleboard is available in two finishes: unfinished with a sanded surface OR finished with veneers such as wood, vinyl, or melamine. Standard, Moisture Resistant (MR), and Flooring are common grades that are offered. Compared to ordinary varieties, MR Particleboard responds to moisture considerably more slowly.
PRE LAMINATED INTERIOR
Pre-lamination is the process of applying a defined pressing cycle, controlled temperature, and pressure to MF-impregnated ornamental or solid color paper with homogeneous density and porosity on a Particle Board surface. resistant to cracking, cigarette burns, steam, household chemicals, and abrasion. As opposed to plywood and pre-laminated particle board, the edges are smooth, which lowers the cost.
LAMINEX
The highest grade MDF boards are used to make LAMINEX, and they are laminated with paper that has been soaked with MF resin in a short cycle press using a programmed logic control quality system. Useful in situations where the panel is subjected to elevated levels of humidity and moisture.No extra expense for polishing the panel’s surface
